Though the story is really riveting, I found the sexual innuendo (not to mention the outright statements) a bit much. I enjoyed the first book in the series the most. It had more story and less "personage" in it.

This is a good writer. As one reviewer stated, you really have to suspend your beliefs in the world in which you live to enter this one. But worth it.

I bought this because my library had sequels and I wanted to see how the series started. I will donate it back to the library when I'm done!
I have enjoyed her other books series and this one does not disappoint!
Pleasant mystery/story with interesting, well developed characters. If you like strong female leads with additional, and humorous, animal friends, you will enjoy this series. Todays world with supernatural accents.

I love supernatural books that include animals. Dixie's companions are fun and so much like the real thing. Sometimes I think she used my cat as reference for Tango.

This is a great series. I love the characters living and dead. Deirdre "Foxtrot" Lancaster is a personal assistant to an extremely quirky and rich Zelda Zoransky who throws house parties on her estate. This series combines cozy mystery, humor and the paranormal. I got the first book at a used book sale and loved it so much I ordered the rest of the series from .
